Evangelization is the practice of sharing the "good news" or Gospel of Jesus Christ. Christians evangelize to fulfill scriptural commands (like the Great Commission of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-18) out of a motivation of love and compassion, to glorify God, and to invite others into a transformative, eternal relationship with Him.

The Bible says that every Christian is to “give a defense” for their faith in Jesus Christ.
(1st Peter 3:15). The word for “defense” is apologia in the Greek, which is where we get the word “apologize” from. That doesn’t mean Christians must say, “I’m sorry for being a Christian!” What it does mean though is that every Chri

(1st Peter 3:15). The word for “defense” is apologia in the Greek, which is where we get the word “apologize” from. That doesn’t mean Christians must say, “I’m sorry for being a Christian!” What it does mean though is that every Christian needs to learn give a defense of why and how to Defend Their Faith, and that includes children also. Children and adults need to learn not just what to believe, but also why they should believe it. This is called apologetics.
In 1st Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed.

The historic landmark church is located at 214 Church Street in New Alexandria, PA, and is now The Cross of Christ Church under Pastor Tony Costa it was (formerly known as No Walls Ministries under Pastor Charles Brownawell).
Historically, this site has long served as the home of the local Reformed Presbyterian (Covenanter) congregation, which traces its roots in the New Alexandria area back to the early 19th century.
Early Beginnings: The original Reformed Presbyterian congregation was officially organized on September 16, 1816. Early church pioneers were part of the 18th-century Scottish Covenanter movement, which heavily influenced the religious landscape of western Pennsylvania.
The Current Building: The brick building that currently stands at the corner of Church Street was historically associated with this long-standing Presbyterian heritage, housing the congregation and its leadership for decades.
Present Day: Today, the facility operates as The Cross of Christ Church. It functions as a Non-Denominational community ministry offering regular Sunday services and Saturday Bible Studies with community outreach programs like food drives and fellowship events.
