At the Greater Works Bible School of Ministry Tony and Ron are aptly nicknamed the “Sons of Thunder,” Our father was known for his fierce temper. Not that we rage nor cause disorder, Ron explains. “God has seen our hearts and troubled spirits, troubled by past fears and conditional love from our father.” he continues. “Truly, Tony and I lived through the storms; we felt the pains and often rejection.” Where is God in the storms? Ron spoke of their past not to solicit sympathy but merely to encourage others to turn tears into laughter and forgiveness, to discover strength from hurtful memories of the past. That we are bound by the love of our family and relatives. But God the Father is the one who genuinely loves and who is in control of all things.  We work together for those who love the Lord. 

It was the apostles James and John’s father Zebedee’s who clearly possessed a famous temper. Jesus nicknamed the brothers "Boanerges, “which translates to "Sons of Thunder".
